That tells you two things: they’re real, but since they are, there can be an unlimited number of counterfeit schemes that simply rip you off of your time and effort and even possibly your money if they asked for a membership fee when you signed up. So before you go and sign up for every such opportunity you see, do some research. Do a background check of the website and the company purportedly behind the website. These technical things need to be done objectively by the way, so avoid scam forums where people tend to hate first and listen later. Deeper research into these forums, though, will eventually lead you to the advice of people who’ve actually experienced it themselves, so it may be worth a try.
When it comes to that point make sure you read between the lines of what you‘re reading. Most people who scream out about being scammed are simply bitter over their own stupidity for not making money off a good deal or they didn’t do it right. Or worse, they could be so frustrated with all the scams they’ve encountered that they’re just saying everything else is a scam. Look at the logic behind the claims and try to ascertain what happened to that particular person based on what he or she says. It might be quite a task to do all this for every opportunity you see, but it’s always better to be safe than ripped off and sorry.
